At Matenda Coffee Farms Limited, we are dedicated to sustainability and environmental stewardship. In 2022, we had the privilege of participating in the Modern Cooking for Healthy Forests program (MCHF), which focuses on championing Forest Friendly Technologies and Land Restoration initiatives.

This program has been a game-changer for us, providing access to mentorship, business development training, and technical assistance to grow and scale our enterprise.

Viphya Highlands Coffee Success Story

2022 was an exciting year for us, a lot of big changes. Though scary we were ready for the challenge. We made the bold step to venture into coffee roastery, a dream we thought far fetched. We were fortunate enough to be selected for cohort 5 of the Growth Accelerator Malawi program, beating over 300 other ventures. The Growth accelerator program supported us with finances to purchase a coffee roastery plant and with technical assistance making sure we have the necessary skills to manage our growth. We are forever grateful for this opportunity.
